Hyderabad: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday arrested a town planning officer from Narsingi municipal office for allegedly demanding a ₹10 lakh bribe to clear a layout regularisation scheme (LRS) file. The officer, identified as Maniharika, was caught red-handed while accepting ₹4 lakh.

In a separate case, a revenue inspector from Narayanpet was arrested on Monday for taking a ₹5,000 bribe to process a land verification report.

The ACB urged citizens to report bribery complaints via toll-free number 1064, WhatsApp (9440446106), or its official social media handles.
