Telangana plans modern integrated registration offices with marriage halls, feeding rooms and senior-friendly facilities, aiming to improve public services and accessibility.

The Telangana government is set to roll out a new model of registration offices designed to make public services more accessible and citizen-friendly. Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy announced that upcoming integrated registration complexes will feature modern infrastructure along with amenities such as mini marriage halls, feeding rooms for mothers, and dedicated facilities for senior citizens and pregnant women.

Speaking at a review meeting in Hyderabad, the minister said the initiative is part of a broader effort to overhaul the state’s revenue administration, which he claimed had weakened over the past decade. He noted that reforms introduced over the last two years, under the leadership of A. Revanth Reddy, aim to make services faster, transparent and more humane.

Under the new plan, 39 sub-registrar offices located within the Outer Ring Road have been reorganised into 11 clusters. Each cluster will function from a single integrated complex spread over three to five acres. These buildings are being developed through private infrastructure firms, with no direct financial burden on the state, and will be maintained by developers for five years.

Construction is already underway at multiple locations in Hyderabad and Medchal district, while another foundation stone is scheduled to be laid near the Patancheru–Shankarpally road.If implemented effectively, the model could significantly reduce congestion at registration offices and improve the overall experience for citizens, especially women, the elderly and people with disabilities. For residents, checking the assigned cluster office in advance may help save time once the new system becomes operational.
