Preparations for the upcoming Ramzan season were reviewed at a high-level coordination meeting held at the Telangana Secretariat in Hyderabad on Thursday. Senior officials from multiple departments assessed arrangements aimed at ensuring smooth observance of the holy month across the State.
The meeting was attended by Syed Azmatullah Husseni, along with Minorities Welfare and Public Enterprises Minister Mohammad Azharuddin, Faheem Qureshi, and Adviser to the Telangana Government for SC, ST, OBC and Minority Affairs Mohammed Ali Shabbir. Officials discussed coordination among civic, police, power, water supply, and health departments to avoid disruptions during Ramzan.
Special focus was placed on public convenience, crowd management near mosques and marketplaces, sanitation, uninterrupted utilities, and law-and-order preparedness. Departments were instructed to remain responsive and ensure timely grievance redressal throughout the festive period.
