Telangana government approves ₹6 crore for Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka’s camp offices in Khammam and floats ₹9.08 crore tender for CM Revanth Reddy’s camp office upgrades

The Telangana government has cleared expenditure amounting to ₹6 crore for the Deputy Chief Minister’s camp offices in Khammam district. Of this, ₹1.5 crore has been sanctioned for renovation of the existing camp office in Madhira, while ₹4.5 crore was approved earlier for constructing a new facility in Khammam town.

The decisions come as part of administrative infrastructure upgrades for senior officials. The renovation and construction works are expected to enhance office facilities and meeting spaces in the district.

Separately, the government has initiated the tendering process for strengthening security and infrastructure at the Dr Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resources Development (MCRHRD) Institute campus in Hyderabad, which is occasionally used by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy as a camp office.

The proposed works, estimated at ₹9.08 crore, include building a reinforced compound wall with concertina fencing, watch towers, gates, and additional security installations, along with furniture and related arrangements.

While the government maintains these measures are routine administrative enhancements, such spending decisions often draw public attention amid broader debates on fiscal priorities. Observers note that transparent communication on infrastructure needs and cost breakdowns can help address questions around public expenditure.
