The Election Commission of India (ECI) cannot afford to be seen as shielding those accused of electoral malpractice. Allegations of “vote theft” have raised serious concerns about transparency in the democratic process. To restore public trust, the ECI should immediately hand over all relevant evidence to the Karnataka CID for investigation.

Protecting democracy means protecting the people’s vote. Any delay or concealment of evidence only deepens suspicion. If the ECI fails to act, the people of India have every right to question its credibility and demand accountability. Citizens must raise their voice, seek answers, and ensure that free and fair elections remain the foundation of India’s democracy.
