Medical sources indicated that his health has shown improvement, though he remains in the Intensive Care Unit for close monitoring. Doctors are assessing his progress, and ventilator support may be gradually withdrawn depending on sustained stability.

Family members, including actor Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Alvira Khan Agnihotri and Aayush Sharma, were seen visiting the hospital. Reports suggest Salman has paused professional commitments to remain with his father during this period.

Salim Khan is widely acknowledged as one of the most influential figures in Hindi cinema’s screenwriting history. As one half of the iconic duo Javed Akhtar–Salim, he co-created several landmark films that reshaped mainstream Bollywood storytelling.
