Several private organisations have joined hands with the Telangana government to support the expansion of school infrastructure in different parts of the state through corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

Ramky Foundation signed an agreement with the state government to establish an integrated educational campus at Jawahar Nagar in Medchal-Malkajgiri district. According to officials, the foundation will contribute Rs 19.66 crore towards the project, covering nearly 40 percent of the total cost.

The initiative aims to develop facilities ranging from pre-primary education to intermediate level. In addition, the organisation will spend Rs 10.4 crore on upgrading the Zilla Parishad High School in Thukkuguda, located in Rangareddy district.

Meanwhile, Yashoda Hospitals has committed Rs 12.20 crore for infrastructure development at a government school in Uppal. The funding will support facilities for pre-primary classes as well as Classes 6 and 7.

The projects reflect a growing trend of private institutions participating in public education development, particularly in infrastructure creation. Improved classrooms and campus facilities can significantly impact learning environments, especially in rapidly expanding urban and semi-urban areas around Hyderabad.

Education experts often note that while infrastructure upgrades are important, sustained investment in teaching quality and student support systems will also be necessary to achieve long-term improvements in government schools.
