Delhi witnessed a vibrant cultural evening as Rahul Gandhi attended the capital’s first North East Music Festival at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The inaugural edition brought together artists from the Northeast, blending traditional rhythms with contemporary sounds under the theme “Sound Without Conflict.”

Dressed in a simple black T-shirt and beige trousers, the Congress leader mingled with the crowd, interacting with young attendees and soaking in the performances. Later, he shared moments from the evening on Instagram, highlighting India’s diversity as its enduring strength.

Clips circulated by Congress leaders showed the packed stadium swaying in unison to performances by rock band Parikrama and rapper Reble. Alongside the music, stalls serving Northeastern cuisine added flavour to the night, turning the event into a broader cultural showcase.
