President Murmu Arrives in Hyderabad for Two-Day Visit

President Droupadi Murmu touched down in Hyderabad on Friday for a two-day official visit. She was received at Begumpet Airport by Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, accompanied by Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, GHMC Mayor Vijayalakshmi Gadwal, Governor Jishnu Dev Varma and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy.

Following her arrival, the President headed to the Rashtrapathi Nilayam in Bolarum, where she will be staying during her stay.

Hyderabad Police have put traffic diversions in place for November 21 and 22 to ensure smooth movement around the President’s convoy routes. Commuters have been advised to plan ahead to avoid delays.

Murmu’s visit is expected to include official meetings and engagements. While the itinerary has not been fully disclosed, officials have ensured security and logistics are in place.

High-profile visits often serve as a platform for strengthening state-centre relations. For Telangana’s leadership, this is an opportunity to showcase governance readiness under the new administration. Local authorities are expected to maintain tight coordination to minimise disruption while ensuring protocol is upheld.
