No LPG or Fuel Shortage in Hyderabad, Assures Police Commissioner Sajjanar
Hyderabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar says fuel and LPG supplies are stable, urges citizens not to panic or believe rumours.
Amid concerns over fuel availability, Hyderabad Police Commissioner V. C. Sajjanar has clarified that there is no shortage of LPG or fuel in the city and that supplies are functioning normally.
In a public message, the Commissioner said adequate stocks are available and distribution is continuing without disruption. He urged residents not to panic or rush to fuel stations, warning that such behaviour could create unnecessary congestion and inconvenience.
Sajjanar added that Hyderabad City Police is actively coordinating with relevant departments to monitor the situation and ensure smooth supply across the city.
Authorities have also appealed to citizens to avoid spreading or believing unverified information, emphasising the importance of maintaining calm during such situations.
Such advisories highlight the role of timely communication in preventing panic-driven demand spikes. Experts note that rumours can often worsen supply situations, making public cooperation essential to keep essential services running smoothly.
