Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Friday accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of pushing Telangana into financial and agrarian crisis, demanding a public apology for “administrative failures” of the Congress government.

Speaking at Erravelli during a programme where several Congress leaders from Nizamabad joined BRS, KTR said the government failed to implement promises, abandoned BRS welfare schemes, and borrowed over ₹2.2 lakh crore in 21 months without results. He also alleged a deliberate fertiliser shortage to hurt farmers.

KTR predicted byelections in 10 Assembly constituencies soon, citing Supreme Court directives on defectors, and warned Speaker’s delay tactics would not protect turncoat MLAs.
