Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rains across Telangana for the next five days, prompting a yellow alert until September 14. Thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds are also expected.

The alert covers all districts except Jogulamba Gadwal, Wanaparthy, and Nagarkurnool. In Hyderabad, rains and thundershowers are likely from Wednesday to Saturday, with a yellow alert specifically for September 12 and 13.

Meanwhile, temperatures have dropped across the state, with Adilabad recording 28.7°C. In Hyderabad, the lowest temperature was 33.2°C at Tirumalagiri.
