Hyderabad: The city’s SHE teams booked 1,612 individuals, including 68 minors, for misbehaving with women during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Of these, 168 petty cases were registered, and 70 offenders have already been produced before the Nampally court.

While fines up to ₹1,050 were imposed in several cases, one person was sentenced to two days’ imprisonment. Over 1,400 others were let off with strict warnings but will be recalled for counselling.
