Women achievers from diverse fields were honoured at the Nari Shakti Awards 2026 in Hyderabad, where the Nari Shakthi Forum was also launched to promote leadership and empowerment.

Women leaders, entrepreneurs, social workers, healthcare professionals, educators, and media personalities from across the country were recognised at the Nari Shakti Awards 2026, held in Hyderabad on Friday. The event, organised by GOADH Foundation and Bharat Ke Anmol, highlighted the achievements of women who have made significant contributions in their respective fields.

The ceremony took place at Hotel Marigold and was attended by several prominent personalities, including Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, who participated as the chief guest. Other dignitaries from diplomatic, academic, and business sectors were also present.

A total of 35 women achievers were honoured for their work in areas such as public service, healthcare, education, entrepreneurship, journalism, social welfare, and community leadership. Senior journalist Indrani Sarkar received recognition for her contributions to journalism and women-focused reporting.

The event also featured Lifetime Achievement Awards for Ratna Prabha and Indukuri Nirmala Devi in recognition of their long-standing public service and professional accomplishments.

A key highlight of the programme was the launch of the Nari Shakthi Forum, an initiative aimed at encouraging women’s leadership, mentorship, networking, and participation in social development activities. The platform was introduced by Dr. Mohammad Nizamuddin, who said the initiative seeks to create opportunities for women to contribute more actively to community and nation-building efforts.

Events such as these play an important role in showcasing success stories that often inspire the next generation of women leaders. Beyond recognition, platforms focused on mentorship and collaboration can help create stronger support systems for women pursuing careers in public service, business, education, and social impact sectors.

The programme concluded with the felicitation of awardees and a collective commitment to advancing gender equality, leadership opportunities, and inclusive growth.
