Despite heavy rains subsiding, several low-lying areas including Viqhar Nagar, Pattigadda, Begumpet, and Sanathnagar continue to remain submerged in stagnant water. Residents are struggling with clogged drains, damaged roads, and the threat of waterborne diseases, yet government authorities have failed to take swift action.

Local citizens allege that every monsoon the same situation repeats, but no permanent solution is implemented. With overflowing sewage and waterlogged lanes, life has become unbearable in these colonies. The big question remains – why is the government still unprepared to clear water in slum areas even after repeated complaints?

Until proper drainage and emergency response systems are put in place, the plight of these communities will continue to be ignored.
