Security agencies at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport were placed on high alert after a Singapore Airlines flight arriving from Singapore received a bomb threat via email.

Airport authorities immediately initiated precautionary protocols after being alerted about the threat. Once the aircraft landed safely at the airport in Shamshabad, it was moved to a designated isolation bay to ensure passenger and airport safety.

Specialised bomb disposal squad teams were deployed to conduct a detailed inspection of the aircraft. Officials said the checks are being carried out as part of standard security procedures followed in such situations.
