Akhilesh Yadav Meets KTR in Hyderabad, Calls Interaction “Personal”
Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav paid a courtesy visit to Bharat Rashtra Samithi working president K.T. Rama Rao at his residence in Hyderabad on Saturday, followed by lunch at a well-known café in Madhapur. Describing the meeting as informal, Yadav said the interaction was driven by personal rapport rather than political strategy.
During the interaction, Yadav underlined the need for constructive and inclusive politics, stressing that public life should focus on unity instead of division. KTR, in turn, congratulated the Samajwadi Party for its strong performance in the recent Uttar Pradesh elections and expressed confidence that the BRS would regain momentum in Telangana in the future.
According to leaders present, Yadav responded positively, saying he believed Telangana’s electorate would once again place its trust in the BRS. Both leaders referred to their long-standing association and said they draw inspiration from each other’s political journeys, particularly as regional parties navigating national politics.
Such cross-state interactions among regional leaders often signal efforts to maintain ideological camaraderie even outside formal alliances. For observers in Telangana, the meeting adds to speculation about future cooperation, though no political roadmap was announced. At a time of polarised discourse, the emphasis on personal bonds and positive politics stood out as a contrasting note
