AIMIM Marks 68th Darussalam Day with Flag Hoisting in Hyderabad
AIMIM celebrates 68th Darussalam Day in Hyderabad with flag hoisting by Asaduddin Owaisi; event preponed ahead of Ramzan.
The All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) observed its 68th Darussalam Day in Hyderabad on Saturday, advancing the annual celebration ahead of the holy month of Ramzan, expected to begin from February 19.
The event took place at the party’s headquarters in Darussalam, where AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi unfurled the party flag. He was joined by Telangana Legislative Assembly Floor Leader Akbaruddin Owaisi and other senior leaders. The gathering also included a felicitation ceremony for Maharashtra unit president Imtiaz Jaleel.
Traditionally held on March 2, the observance was rescheduled this year to accommodate Ramzan preparations. Party workers and supporters gathered at the central office to mark the occasion.
Darussalam Day serves as a reminder of the party’s organisational journey and its political footprint in Telangana and beyond. With civic and Assembly politics increasingly competitive, such events also function as mobilisation platforms, reinforcing cadre unity ahead of future electoral challenges.
